After picking up the rental car (affectionately dubbed "Chitty"), Max and I began the long, 7+ hour drive from Oslo to Stavanger.
We stopped in Tønsberg, Norway's oldest city, for lunch. There we met a kind man who builds Viking ships and sails them around the world. He also gave us free postcards, to encourage people to send more physical letters to each other. We got lunch in Tønsberg and were served by a waitress whose dream it was to visit New York City. My advice to her? "Don't Leave. Stay in Norway."
On this trip I also charged an electric vehicle for the first time. Very easy to do with the help of the Elkton app!
We arrived in Kristiansand, a town by the sea, for dinner. We didn't stay there very long and I only got a few photos there:
As the sun was beginning to set around 10:30, we came across a beautiful overlook near Flekkefjord:
We finally arrived in Stavanger around 12:30am.
Here's the playlist we listened to on the trip over to Stavanger!
